Thames Water to carry out repairs on 25 Bromley roads
Thames Water is scheduled to begin vital repair and maintenance operations in various Bromley roads starting at the end of this month. The initiative, set to commence on January 24, 2024, doesn’t have a definitive completion date. During the project, no parking will be allowed on the affected streets.
Vehicles parked in violation of this order risk removal under the 1986 Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations or by Bromley Council. The work is expected to last up to 18 months, starting from the specified date or later.
Roads affected:
The streets affected by these works include Addington Road in West Wickham, Arrol Road in Beckenham, and numerous others across Bromley, Chislehurst, Sydenham, Petts Wood, Downe, St Mary Cray, Orpington, and Chelsfield.
Access to properties will be kept as accessible as possible, and emergency vehicles will have continuous access. The order exempts vehicles involved in the works and actions approved by uniformed police officers or traffic wardens.
