Mary Durcan Reinstated as Chair of City of London Corporation’s Health and Wellbeing Board
In a recent decision, the City of London Corporation’s Health and Wellbeing Board has once again elected Mary Durcan as its chairperson. The Board, well known for steering the Corporation’s health and wellness strategy, ensures that those living and working in the City have access to services benefiting their physical and mental health.
Mary Durcan, who formerly held a senior management role in the NHS within a prominent teaching hospital and served as a Magistrate for three decades, brings her extensive experience back to the Board. The Deputy Chair position was awarded to Ruby Sayed, cementing the leadership team.
Mary Durcan, Chair of the City Corporation’s Health and Wellbeing Board, conveyed her passion and commitment to the role. “Being elected as the chair of this board is both a tremendous honour and privilege.
